This policy is based on the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (FADP, “revFADP”).

What data we process

We only process data that we need for our services:

• Contact form: name, email address, optionally phone number, and your message
• Order: name, address, email address, phone number (optional), items ordered
• Visiting the website: technical data such as IP address, date, time, page accessed and browser (server log files)

What we use your data for

• to answer your enquiry
• to process, deliver and invoice your order
• to operate the website securely and reliably
• to improve the website using anonymous statistics

Hosting

Our website is hosted by cyon AG, Brunngässlein 12, 4052 Basel, Switzerland. The data is stored in Switzerland. Server log files are automatically deleted after a short time.

Sending emails

We send messages from the contact form and orders by email via the servers of cyon AG in Switzerland.

Cookies

We only use technically necessary cookies:

• Session cookie (PHPSESSID): only in the shop and the contact form, for the basket and to protect against misuse. It is deleted when you close your browser.
• Consent cookie (cookie_consent): stores your choice in the cookie notice for 12 months.

Statistics with Matomo

We use Matomo, a statistics software running on our own server in Switzerland. Matomo does not set any cookies. IP addresses are shortened and not passed on to third parties. We only see anonymous figures, for example how often a page was visited.

Map (OpenStreetMap)

On the contact page, you can display a map from OpenStreetMap. The map is only loaded once you give your consent or click on “Show map”. In doing so, your IP address is transmitted to the OpenStreetMap Foundation (United Kingdom). The United Kingdom provides an adequate level of data protection.

Fonts

All fonts are stored on our server. No data is transmitted to Google or other providers.

Disclosure of data

We only pass on your data if it is necessary for delivery (for example to Swiss Post) or if we are legally obliged to do so. We never sell your data.

How long we keep data

We delete enquiries as soon as they have been dealt with, at the latest after 12 months. We keep order and invoice data for the statutory period of 10 years.

Your rights

You can request information about your data at any time. You can also ask us to correct or delete data. To do so, please write to us at info@dabonahu.cyon.site. You can also lodge a complaint with the Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC).
