How your coffee is made

Our roasting takes time. And you can taste it in every cup.

  1. Selecting

We check every delivery by hand and only roast flawless beans.

  2. Slow roasting

The beans roast for up to 20 minutes at a gentle heat. This brings out the aromas and keeps bitterness away.

  3. Gentle cooling

The beans then cool in the open air in a tray – without any water.

  4. Fresh packing

We pack the coffee straight away in bags with an aroma valve and send it to you.

Frequently asked questions

Which coffee should I choose?

If you like it mild, choose “Arabica Hochland”. For bean-to-cup machines, we recommend “Crema Classico”. If you like it strong, go for “Espresso Rheinfelden”. We are also happy to advise you by phone.

Whole beans or ground?

Whole beans stay fresh for longer. If you do not have a grinder, we are happy to grind the coffee for you – to suit your coffee machine.

How long does the coffee keep?

It tastes best within the first 8 weeks after roasting. Keep the pack tightly closed in a cool, dark place – but not in the fridge.

How do I pay?

Simply by invoice. You pay within 30 days by payment slip, e-banking or TWINT.

How much does delivery cost?

Delivery within Switzerland costs CHF 7.90. For orders of CHF 60 or more, delivery is free. You can also collect your order free of charge in Rheinfelden.
